Frankie started out with humble beginnings. He was an entrepreneur like his parents, who started off by selling fresh chickens at the market. His wife, Pauline, introduced him to the sport in 1999, where they started as a regular gathering amongst friends. However, he didn’t realize that the trip changed his life where he became a master of the sport.  He challenged himself consistently and through his love for wakeboarding, Frankie took the leap and quit his permanent job and embarked into instructing and being a coach, while continue to improve on his riding skills.

He did not stop innovating while being a coach. Through his exposure on international competitions,

Frankie learnt from other global wakeboarders, including the Japanese style of riding. He recognizes that he is of a smaller frame as compared to other wakeboarders. Not willing to be 2nd best, he persisted and further developed his own style of riding and techniques that he unselfishly passes on this knowledge to his students.

Frankie has a ‘never-say-die’ attitude. He was drafted to be part of Team Singapore in the 2015 and 2017 SEA games, Wakeboard World Cup, IWSF Asian Championships, National Championships and have brought home countless of awards including 5 Times Master Men Champion, 3 Times National Champion, 2 Times SEA Games Team Silver. He has also coached multiple award-winning students under his belt and care.
